1. Entry into the tourism zone and core safari area is strictly regulated. All tourists must report
to the designated gate on time and follow the instructions of the forest officials. The safari area
begins approximately 60 minutes from the main gate.

2. All tourists must present valid identity proof before entering the forest. No entry will be
allowed without proper identification.

3. Only official forest department vehicles (designated gypsies) are allowed entry. Private vehicles
will not be permitted.

4. Each safari vehicle will be allocated to only one family/group (blood relation) at a time. Two
separate family groups will not be allowed in the same vehicle under any circumstances.

5. Female tourists will be frisked only by female staff members for safety and privacy.

6. Entry to the core zone is only for wildlife observation. Carrying or consuming food, plastic,
alcohol, tobacco, inflammable materials, and playing loud music is strictly prohibited.

7. Touching, disturbing, or collecting forest produce, plants, birds, or animals is forbidden. Legal
action may be taken against violators under wildlife protection laws.

8. Use of drones, professional photography/videography equipment is strictly prohibited without
prior permission from the forest department.

9. Tourists not adhering to the rules and guidelines will be denied entry and may be blacklisted for
future visits.

10. Jungle safari must be conducted only under the guidance of an authorized forest guide.

11. All visitors are expected to take responsibility for preserving the natural environment.

12. The forest is a collective heritage — protecting it is our shared duty.

- Well-connected with Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, Chennai, Kolkata, etc.
- Taxis and buses available from Nagpur
- MSRTC and private buses run from Nagpur to Ramtek regularly.
- From Ramtek, local transport or jeeps can be used to reach the reserve.
- Weather: Pleasant, cool breeze, ideal for safaris and photography.
